Our Regen 2030 Goal
The World Expeditions Foundation (WEF) is the not-for-profit arm of the World Expeditions Travel Group (WETG), established to empower travellers, partners and supporters to create lasting, meaningful change through travel.
WEF is guided by our Regenerative 2030 goal. What began as a commitment to support at least one regenerative project in every country we operate in by 2030 has evolved into a more intentional and impact-driven approach. We now extend beyond our direct travel footprint to prioritise support in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), where funding can deliver the greatest social, environmental, and climate impact. In doing so, we aim to ensure the benefits of travel are shared more equitably, supporting communities and environments where they are needed most.
We partner with local communities and organisations to deliver regenerative projects that respond to locally identified needs, helping ensure the places we travel remain vibrant for generations to come.
For every traveller, WETG brands donate the equivalent of AUD $5 to the WEF, extending the impact of your journey into the communities we visit.
